Armed Forces Day Exhibition in Liverpool
As you may have heard through Courage and the War Widows Association, at long last we are able to exhibit the War Widows Quilt again, and alongside this we have published a revised and expanded edition of the War Widows Quilt exhibition book.
Last Saturday (24th June), the quilt was on display at Liverpool’s St. George’s Hall for Armed Forces Day. The exhibition happened at quite short notice. Several of you were able to join us, though, and many came with family members, making it a moving and memorable “restart” of our work together. The Lord Mayor of Liverpool attended, too, and we had more than 100 people visit the exhibition throughout the day.
