Saturday 7 June was Veterans Day in Dundee in the City Square.
The Lord Provost of Dundee and his lovely wife, Yvonne, were in attendance and, as always, extremely supportive of the Armed Forces and Veterans Community – thank you, Bill.
Graeme Dey, Scottish Veterans Minister, also joined us. It was a lovely service led by Rev Bob and we were invited to read one of the lessons. Buffet lunch followed in the Market Bar afterwards – a great opportunity to catch up with friends!
Leading Cadet Abi Barrie did us proud, as always. We are so grateful to her, and to her lovely family for supporting and encouraging her to attend our events – she’s pictured below with Mum Sharon, dad David and sister Sophie.
