Service celebrating the opening of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland at St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, Sunday 19 May

The Duke of Edinburgh attended the service following his appointment as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland 2024.

Our Secretary was invited to attend to represent WWA.

Our Trustees Debbie, Liz, Richard, David and David’s wife Christine spent 2 days at Duxford Air Show promoting the Association and our Merchandise. Debbie’s dad is the volunteer in red, talking about the Andersen Shelter and how he sat in there as a boy during the Blitz.
