Our Secretary attended yesterday, 6th June 2023, and said “What a moving service in the Scottish National War Memorial in Edinburgh Castle today.
It was a privilege and honour to lay our Association cross and to represent the Royal Navy Royal Marines Widows’ Association alongside the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the AWA who laid a wreath on behalf of Army Widows, Navy Widows and Royal Air Force Widows Associations.”
The solemn ceremony allowed us to reflect on the immeasurable contributions of those who have served our nation and the resilience of the families left behind.
