On Tuesday night, our Secretary was invited to Scotland’s Salute to #VEDay80 at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
What an incredible evening of music, memories and tributes. There were 8 WW2 veterans there, one of them our very own Cathy Drummond. Another was presented with France’s highest honour, the Legion d’Honneur, by the French Consul. There were lots of lumps in lots of throats at that point!
Abi did a sterling job of representing us again – what a long day for her with rehearsals before the performance and then back to Inverness straight afterwards for exams today! Good luck, and thank you, Abi. You can see Abi with our Standard at the left of the stage and in the front.
