Following a deluge of calls and emails this morning, please be assured that the WWA did not know the detail of the Recognition Payment application form until its publication yesterday afternoon.
The Chair has written to Dr Murrison to point out that the Attributable Pension was never included in any discussions. The campaign was to rectify the loss of the compensation part, ie the War Widows Pension which became a pension for life in 2015.
As soon as we have any further information, we will update all members.
