The Chair has written to Dr Murrison to point out that the Attributable Pension was never included in any discussions. The campaign was to rectify the loss of the compensation part, ie the War Widows Pension which became a pension for life in 2015.
We are delighted to advise that we have received confirmation from the MOD in the last few minutes that the launch of the Recognition Payment Application Process will be officially announced later today.
Following a discussion with Veteran’s UK it is apparent that the application form is still not ready.
We would like to thank all members (over 100) who took the time to send our letters to their MP. We know that Dr Murrison was inundated with calls and emails as a result.
